Education Studies seeks to appoint an outstanding and ambitious early career researcher (Assistant Professor) who will play a full part in research, writing, teaching, supervision and administration. The successful applicant will already have high-quality outputs and will be able to show evidence of grant capture. They will be supported to thrive through the University’s Probation Scheme, which provides time for early career researchers to reach a position where they are able to demonstrate proficiency in teaching, research and academic service. We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
Areas of strength within Education Studies include, but are not limited to, doctoral education, social justice and equity, leadership, childhood, and psychology. However, we welcome applications from academics whose research and teaching expertise is in a different area of the established areas of work in Education Studies.
