The School of Pharmacy is seeking to appoint an outstanding Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutics to join our growing and vibrant team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to diversify our current pharmaceutics research portfolio beyond nanomedicines and contribute to the educational excellence of the School. The post holder will have a track-record of research in Pharmaceutics in an area that can complement existing expertise within the School of Pharmacy. We are particularly interested in scientists with expertise in emerging technologies for dosage form design (e.g. 3D-printing), molecular pharmaceutics, biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, or the use of computational modelling/simulation to support formulation development and assessment. The candidate will demonstrate the ability to develop an independent research platform that will be (inter)nationally competitive and contribute to strategic priorities for the College and wider University community.The post-holder will show a desire to develop high-quality teaching initiatives appropriate to their specialism. This could be related to any aspect relevant to pharmaceutics or biopharmaceutics. Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the undergraduate pharmacy programme (MPharm) but additional opportunities may arise to contribute to other undergraduate or postgraduate initiatives within the School.
