The School of Engineering is recruiting an Assistant Professor (Teaching-focused) with subject expertise for the design and engineered solutions to the World’s most complex and diverse humanitarian issues. The successful appointee will undertake design, delivery and administration of teaching and learning at undergraduate and postgraduate level led by the Discipline of Civil and Environmental Engineering within the School of Engineering at the University of Warwick. In an interdisciplinary forum the Assistant Professor will be able to teach on the cross-faculty MSc Humanitarian Engineering programme. It is expected that successful delivery will develop the appointed candidate’s own academic career and profile as a university teaching-focused specialist. We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
