Assistant Site Manager

Job Description

I'm looking to speak with experienced Assistant Site Managers who're tired of the volume or PLC House building world, the lack of focus on quality and want to be involved with developments they've proud of working on.
I've a client who are a privately owned house builder who genuinely focus on delivering the highest quality open market family homes, they possibly can.
Most builders say this. In fact, 99% of house builder promise their customers this. Probably 90% of those promises aren't genuine and the focus is in fact on volume building, maximising profitability.
This builder are different.
They where born out of previous experience and long-service with one of the biggest house builders, with the best of reputations for delivering quality. However, when the industry began to change, my contact came away and set up themselves.
Delivering circa 35 houses a year, they focus on specification and allowing their site teams to deliver the highest possible quality of family homes (typically 3 and 4 bedroom homes - so we're not talking footballer-house type stuff here - still relatable to the average person).
As Assistant Site Manager you'll support an experienced Site Manager and you'll both have the support of a visiting Head of Construction. Most of their Site Managers have come from previous service with PLC Volume House Builders, but been looking for the support, time and environment to deliver a higher quality product.
They're based (head office wise) and deliver (locations of sites) exclusively in the Cheshire region.
They believe vehemently in looking after their staff, with great packages in addition to basic salaries but also importantly with locality of works and commutes to site. With that in mind, they are only consider employing staff who're located suitable locally.
This isn't an urgent requirement.
They're looking to supplement their teams with good, up & coming Assistants where & when possible.
Whilst not being urgent though, they will move quickly for the right individual…
