A DAY IN THE LIFE
Build and lead the strategy for the largest portion of the Kiehl’s business- our bricks, which include our Kiehl’s boutiques & our retailer partner doors
Partner with Marketing, Commercial Team and Retail Team to identify clear objectives for Kiehl’s Boutiques and retailer bricks for each campaign and create bespoke trade marketing plans that are impactful and meaningful in terms of engagement, innovation and customer centricity.
Develop an unparalleled understanding of the competitor landscape in terms of launches and activation – from which Kiehl’s can be inspired
Craft and lead the strategy on services to ensure Kiehl’s are leaders in the industry for in-store services and collaborate with the Online Brand Manager to create a seamless omni-experience
Build and lead the Kiehl’s beauty tech strategy and distribution plan in support and partnership with education, VM/ Retail Design and the Retail team
Manage the forecast & distribution for Kiehl’s sampling in all doors
Manage alongside the Online Brand Manager the forecasting, the creation and budget for all GWPs
Develop and nurture trusted relationships with Zone/DMI team to influence intl plans that best meet UK market requirements
Cultivate engaging, personalised relationships with both our customers and retailers – and use those to gather deeper shopper knowledge and to educate the wider Kiehl’s team on the needs of our customers
Build best in class retailer strategy decks grounded in consumer and retail insights leading through activation, working hand in hand with the NAMs and Customer Activation Managers and the wider brand marketing team
Lead Kiehl’s Recycling programme, challenging how we can continue to push our support for L’Oreal for the future
Collect and analyse retailer and shopper insights and competition strategies to make recommendations to management
Lead the measurement, tracking and reporting on the effectiveness of all in-store activation initiatives in order to create gather learnings, maximize efficiencies and drive ROI on all our investments
Lead the briefing of assets for in-store specific elements, adapting content where necessary (imagery, digital, point of sale)
Manage PPP Activation budget alongside Online Brand Manager

Process-driven and with excellent project and time management skills
Extremely meticulous and prepared to spend a lot of time dissecting data and information, but is also able to pull away from the detail to think laterally and strategically
Self-starter with a test and learn mentality
Marketing savvy, with the ability to take shopper and market insights all the way through activation

Confident and enthusiastic
Creative, with an eye for design, attention to detail along with sensitivity to metier
Practical and methodical approach to problem solving
With experience working as part of a team and independently (although often without supervision and under pressure).
Proactive and assertive, able to prioritise and cope under pressure and multi-task, demonstrating ability to drive projects to completion
You have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and strong numeric ability
You are familiar with Opitimise, Sharepoint and other programs necessary for our day-to-day business
