SalaryWe are looking for a highly organised person to join our wholesale trade marketing team based at Park Royal, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, self-starter who wants to be at the forefront of this period of growth, helping our teams grow and shape the future.
As an experienced Trade Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the marketing department, ensuring that priorities are managed effectively, meeting deadlines and in line with customer expectations, and taking ownership of the trade marketing planner to integrate and drive supplier activity seamlessly.
Your main responsibilities:
- Deliver activation plan which is aligned to category growth drivers, and customer needs and influences shoppers throughout the path to purchase
- Effectively adapt and adjust activity plans to reflect the changing customer and internal environment
- Monitor our competition and use insights to shape our trade marketing plan
- Attend trade days and supplier events
- Delivering agreed supplier activations to drive sales and leverage supplier investment
- Influencing key stakeholders whilst maintaining excellent working relationships across all levels
About You:
- Graduate with a relevant degree and evidence of post-graduate continuous professional development, ideally Membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) or equivalent
- Previous experience working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders across sales, trading, operations, and the marketing team is essential
- Experience in creating a marketing plan that drives footfall, and sales, builds awareness and drives lead
- Excellent written and presentation skills
- Good experience working with sales, trading, and operations teams
- Self-starter, who is driven by results and can work independently
- Experience in developing the customer journey
- Demonstratable and full understanding of B2B marketing principles and tools
