Within GBM, HSBC Market and Securities Services (MSS) works with corporate and institutional clients where we provide a wide range of markets products via our specialist teams. One of these teams is Institutional Sales Enablement (ISE). The ISE team are an important function that aid the front office sales efforts and have 3 functions: Client Intelligence, Global Investor Access & Market Insights
We are currently seeking a professional to join our Market Insights team as an Associate.
Overview: the role involves taking raw data or draft information and creating end state / business ready content, predominantly MS Powerpoint presentations but also sales pitchbooks and RFP’s that the sales teams will use to aid their interaction with HSBC’s external audience. There is a strong creative aspect to the role and will involve regular collaboration with other internal functions, i.e. Marketing, Branding, Comms, PR etc. There is also a small element of other media production tasks.
It is worth noting that this role is NOT specifically a marketing role, brand management or comms role but a creative hybrid.
The role holder will also ensure the HSBC values are present in everything they do, both individually and as an organisation. The role has a working pattern that will be office-based at HSBC offices at Canada Square, London with some flexibility for home working. You must be able to work in London on a weekly basis.
In this role you will be expected to:
- Create high quality Powerpoint presentations.
- Ability to assess raw information and data and covert into a succinct and easily understandable format.
- Regularly collaborate across other internal functions and teams that have a degree of creative input.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver to demanding timescales.
- Be a valued colleague and active contributor to the Insights team and wider ISE function.
