We aim to use evidenced-based insights to enhance planning and decision-making to commission and carry out work which will further develop PDS' quality of service, productivity, efficiency and ultimately value for money.
One of the primary responsibilities of the Associate Performance Analyst is to provide support and assistance to the Performance Manager in the provision of creating and maintaining reliable PDS operational reports, customer experience reports such as service monitoring/availability, trends and insights.
- support the Performance Manager in collecting and presenting key performance data relating to PDS operational service delivery.
- proactively help in ensuring that performance reporting service meets the requirements of the agreed service level standards.
- communicate PDS service performance information against key indicators to internal stakeholders as necessary and in a way that enhances their ability for to make business decisions.
- help teams understand reporting needs by providing quantitative and qualitative evidence from operational service delivery data and analytics.
- use digital platforms to support automated and real-time collection and presentation of data where possible.
- share examples of best practice in performance reporting from external sources for benchmarking purposes.
- identify and report on delivery obstacles to improving operational performance reporting and support the work to overcome those obstacles.

What You Need
- experience of research, accurate collection, and organisation of relevant data to help form reporting and Must be able to use MS Office 365 Products professionally e.g. Excel and SharePoint.
- a systematic, analytical and 'can-do' approach to problem solving, exercise sound judgement and interpretative ability to problems which requires fact finding and analysis. Proactively apply different techniques and methods in analysing and resolving them.
- demonstrate planning and organisational skills and ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and cope with fluctuations in workload.
- excellent verbal and written communication skills including but not limited to providing regular progress update reports both verbally and in writing.
- experience of good records management practices, data protection, information security and understanding of the need to comply to wider Parliament-wide policies.
- ability to take decisions on day-to-day issues relating to own work and without close supervision.
- the ability to pass security clearance, backed by the right to work in the UK

Aligned with the digital transformation, the Performance Team continues to deliver cross-PDS collaborations as part of executing department-wide strategic initiatives. Through these efforts, we are looking to enhance our ability to schedule, plan and manage resources in order to meet growing service demands. Assessing the efficiency of resource utilisation and identifying potential risks arising from resource constraints are essential measures in aligning with PDS objectives.
