Band 3 Finance Officer

Here at Brook Street (UK) Ltd, we are delighted to be recruiting for a Band 3 Finance Officer role for our trusted Public Sector client in the Newtownards area. This is an excellent opportunity to display your communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Duties you will be responsible for include.
o Ability to work / handle large volumes of cash / coin.
o Ability to work with staff and clients at all levels in the Trust.
o Word processing /producing reports/working on computer systems.
o Input, manipulation, and retrieval of financial data into computer databases and spreadsheets, where speed and accuracy are necessary.
o Sorting and responding to mail/emails as appropriate.
o Arrange appointments/meetings as requested.
o Maintain Filing System.
o General office duties such as photocopying/faxing/ scanning.
To be eligible for this role, you will hold:
4 GCSEs Grades A-C including English & Maths or equivalent and 1 years relevant experience*
Or
2 years relevant experience
It will be highly advantageous for candidates to have a working knowledge of Excel and Word, and previous experience in an administration role.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm and in return you will be paid £11.11 per hour. This will be paid on a weekly basis.
