Finance Officer

Job Title:Finance Officers

Salary: Band 4 - £12.25 per hour or Band 3 - £11.11 per hour

Location: Downpatrick or Newtownards

Hours: 37.5 hours per week or 22.5 hours per week

Duration: Temporary

Qualifications/Experience:

Band 4:

An HNC/D (finance related) or equivalent plus 1 year’s suitable relevant experience in a finance department.

OR

NVQ level 3 plus 2 years suitable relevant experience in a finance department.

OR

4 years recent suitable relevant experience in a finance department at Band 3 or equivalent.

*Relevant experience is defined as working in an office in a financial environment, e.g. making payments, receipting cash, assisting preparation of accounts or reconciling bank accounts.

Band 3:

1.4 GCSEs Grades A-C including English & Maths or equivalent and 1 years relevant experience*

OR

2 years relevant experience*

2. ECDL or in depth experience and knowledge of Microsoft Packages including Word or equivalent

*Relevant experience is defined as experience of working with computerised financial systems in a busy finance office.
