Job description
The Business Finance Manager will assist the Directorate Accountant (DA) in providing a range of financial and business support services to a designated service directorate/corporate group(s) in order to achieve effective financial management and support the drive for continuous improvement in service delivery in line with the strategic objectives of the Trust.Paramount in this drive for strong financial management will be the Business Finance Manager’s production of regular, meaningful financial analysis reports to facilitate effective budgetary control at directorate level and upon which an effective platform for challenging financial performance can be established..
Responsibilities
- Support the senior finance team in maintaining effective financial control within designated directorates by contributing to the Trusts financial strategy and financial plan through participation in the development of directorates management plans.
- Support the development of the annual budget setting process for designated directorates, including the annual review of the budget setting policy, making recommendations for change and the provision of guidelines and timetables to relevant business
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Fully qualified accountant & a member of a recognised accountancy body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, CPA) And 2 years finance experience.
