In this role, you will play a crucial role in securing new contracts & business opportunities for the company. You will be tasked with managing the pre-bid stage by identifying opportunities and developing a winning strategy, and then manage the writing & editing stage where you will write proposals and fill in PQQs. Your role will require you to manage deadlines, ensure that your work complies with all relevant requirements and identify areas for improvement for future bid writing activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience writing tenders, have strong written communication skills and be able to stick to deadlines. They will need to able to conduct thorough research and analysis and have a strong degree of business acumen to help understand the financial, commercial and operational elements of the company and the industry.
This role would suit a Bid Writer who wants to step up in their career and help an organisation to achieve its commercial goals, whilst also developing their own personal & professional skills in a highly important position.
The Role:

• Managing the full tender process, from the pre-bid stage, to writing the proposal to analysing the outcomes following the conclusion of the process
• Writing proposals, responding to tenders, filling in PQQs
• Managing deadlines, dealing with compliance matters and identifying areas for improvement for future tender processes

The Person:

• Experience in writing tenders
• High level of written communication skills
• Strong research and analysis skills
• A good degree of business acumen
