Bookkeeper– Mansfield – £25,000 - £30,000
Chase & Holland is currently seeking a Bookkeeper for a rapidly expanding company that requires additional staff to handle the increased workload. Bookkeeper/VAT assistant Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping for clients from across a range of industries ranging from £100k – 15million turnover clients.
• Preparing and filing VAT returns and communicating with clients on bookkeeping and basic aspects of VAT
• Assisting with Management Accounts for clients
• Liaising with other members of the accounts team to verify their work and ensure the highest levels of accuracy are maintained

Hours:

• Full-time or will consider part-time hours for the right candidate working at least 3 days a week

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience of bookkeeping and VAT knowledge
• Being able to handle a large workload and communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure that all tasks are completed
• Experience of computerised accounts packages such as SAGE, Xero
• Keen eye for detail with the ability to critique own work along with the work of others
• Concise communication with customers and colleagues
• MS office skills (specifically word and excel)
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Punctual and reliable with a can-do attitude
