Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm). Additional hours may be required.
Role Overview:
A meticulous and experienced Xero Bookkeeper is needed to join a dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and receivable, and supporting the financial health of a rapidly expanding business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records using Xero accounting software.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and promptly.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Generate financial reports and statements for management review.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, with specific experience using Xero.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
