The role
Lendlease Construction is currently recruiting for an Building Services Manager to join the team delivering a new £500m MOD framework located across the West Midlands, based out of our Birmingham office.
What will you do?
- The Building Services Manager will report to the Project Lead on functional matters and will produce, design reviews, method and time related information required for tenders, management of construction, completion and post construction obligations.
- Review design to ensure delivery is in compliance with the Employers Requirements.
- Review design and installation drawings to ensure delivery is in compliance to Regulatory requirements
- Assist commercial team with value engineering opportunities, variations and disputes.
- Assist other team members with tender submissions, pre-construction activities, as required.
- Review all tender submissions to ensure no scope gaps with offers received.
- Coordination with client’s representatives, design consultants and subcontractors.
You will bring
- Professional Building Services, or mechanical or electrical engineering qualification relevant to the role (BSc or MSc or HND with relevant experience)
- Pre-construction and site establishment experience
- An in depth knowledge of the construction process and construction methods
- Experience of dealing with clients, contractors and construction activities
- Design, procurement, construction and delivery experience
