Building Surveyor

Starting salary from £36,333 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £43,155 per annum.  An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Surveyor to join the Estates and Facilities Directorate  Key duties of the role include:   Undertaking building surveys across our estate which will contribute to our Life Cycle Management plan. Incorporating Net 0 goals, working with existing information systems and developing new systems for recording data, producing analysis and reports. Advising on remedial works which will take into account preservation and conservation of historic buildings. Providing guidance on building regulations and property legislation whilst advising on planned maintenance regimes. You will have professional membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent, a degree or equivalent qualification in a Building Surveying related discipline and experience in a similar role.  This full-time role is available from 26 February 2024 on an indefinite basis.
