A vacancy has arisen within the Force Control Room at Staffordshire Police to be responsible for the administration of all aspects of the alarm application and maintenance process.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive management of alarms administration from ensuring applications are completed correctly and adhere to national published guidelines through to arranging for the banking of fees associated with the requested alarm. The post holder will maintain contact with both members of the public and alarm companies throughout the lifecycle of an alarm application, and respond to any queries as they arise both via e-mail and telephone.
Strong written and oral communication skills along with organisational aptitude will be required for the role. Candidates will be responsible for their own workload, ensuring all alarm application requests/queries are processed in a timely manner.
As and when required, the post holder will also support the Business Development Team with weekly administrative tasks to include; application housekeeping and stationery provisioning.
Knowledge & Qualifications
Demonstrate an ability to compile professional, grammatically correct reports and letters.
Demonstrable experience and regular use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs, and be prepared to learn force networked applications.

Flexi Part Time, working 4 days per week, 29.6 hours. Working times can be flexible and agreed with the successful candidate.
