A precision engineering manufacturer in the West Midlands are actively looking for a Business Development Executive to join their sales team.In the last 18 months this business have gone from a £9m to a £21m and are continuing to grow across a number of sectors including the Petrochem, Renewables, Oil & Gas & Energy sector to name a few.
Reporting into the Business Development Director - this role will focus around an individual who will be instrumental in developing new relationships and bringing in new work and opening new doors for the business. The long term progression of this role is to be a Business Development Manager who will eventually be leading their own team which they will be instrumental in selecting. You will be comfortable with working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Business Development Executive Responsibilities :
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within varying market places.Learn and become knowledgeable about our products and the industry standardsCollaborate with all other departments including, estimating, purchasing, marketing, operations, and finance.Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients/partners, showcasing the company's products and servicesNegotiate pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties involvedKeep abreast of market developments and emerging technologies that our product may be used inArrange travel for customer meetings both nationally and internationally.Identify/Attend Exhibitions and identify potential targetsArrange & Attend Exhibitions/ConferencesIdentify potential subscriptions and approvals the company may need to break into new market sectorsMaintain ERP contacts with latest contact detailsBusiness Development Executive Requirements:
Experience in a Business Development or sales role within the manufacturing industry (preferable)Experience of working for a manufacturing company (preferable)Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to connect and engage with key personal at all levels in the industry.Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with a focus on delivering positive outcomes for both the company and the client.Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the UK and Globally.
