Up to £35k basic DOE plus commission (OTE up to £47k)
This is an exciting role in a growing, fast paced team. Our client, a property services business, are looking for a Business Development Executive to join their small team to manage existing relationships and accounts, seek new business and assess client needs.
The key responsibilities for a Business Development Executive:
- Actively seeking new accounts, managing and growing the relationships with existing partners and communicating with lapsed customers to get them back on board
- The workload will consist of partly new business (30-40%), around 50% account management and continuous relationship/rapport building, and around 10-20% recontacting lapsed business
- 80% of your time is expected to be on the phone or in teams meetings, sometimes presenting to prospective partners
- Fast paced environment where you will manage your own time and workload whilst working towards targets and KPIs
- Daily huddle meetings with the team to discuss prospects and business
- Identifying a clients' interest to deliver accurate information that will eventually lead to a sale
Minimum requirements for a Business Development Executive:
- Experience in a sales or Business Development environment
- Enthusiastic, meticulous attitude with motivation to make sales
- Great at creating and fostering relationships
- Methodical approach with understanding of sales process / cycle
- Confident with IT and CRM systems
- Experience working toward targets and KPIs
The ideal candidate for a Business Development Executive:
- Great organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good at retaining information
- Comfortable working remotely with possibly 1 day per month visiting a Northamptonshire-based office
