How you’ll make an impact…
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for B2B sales signing up new accountants and bookkeepers. You will also be responsible for the account management of these accountants and bookkeepers across the UK. You will be responsible for building and developing a network of accountants and bookkeepers and developing a sustained program of ongoing sign-ups. You will provide them support in migrating clients onto the Nomi platform.
You’ll form strong relationships with your accountants and bookkeepers and work within a close-knit team to ensure Nomi as a whole is successful. You'll also play a critical role in helping businesses save time and money.
What you’ll do…
- Drive customer numbers up to achieve and exceed monthly targets
- Develop plans to support migration to Nomi
- Manage the recruitment, education and growth of your partner base
- Update our CRM system with all client communications including calls, emails and meetings
- Drive new customer acquisition growth by making outbound calls to prospective businesses
- Develop attractive sales strategies and lucrative offers for our Partners.
- Developing and building a strong pipeline
- Build and agree sales target with management and achieve those numbers
- Initial Demo of the product to the partners
- Build future sales by managing a pipeline of prospects through customer relationship building and market awareness
- Deliver Nomi webinars on new and current features and updates
- Show an understanding of client needs and show them a demo of the Nomi software to showcase how it can support their needs
What you’ll bring with you...
- At least 3 years sales experience
- Strong Business Development experience
- Experience in working within the tech space with a particular focus on cloud
- Experience in sales within the financial or professional services
- Experience with computers and applications software, including CRM database skills
- Experience/knowledge of the workings of an accounting/bookkeeping practice desirable
- An interest and intrigue in the emerging online accounting market and Fintech
- Ability to work autonomously
- Be commercially aware and able to deliver profitable proposals that meet internal guidelines
- Understand how to drive cost of revenue and margins to achieve sales targets
- Have a proven track record of commercial success in sales or similar roles
- Be organised and self-aware, consistently following up on leads and planning ahead
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Drive and commitment to exceeding targets.
- Knowledge of the Accounting industry
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills and an enthusiasm for building strong relationships
- Ability to create a quick and strong rapport with partners
- Attention to detail and proven follow-up
