Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team to drive the sales in our newly started tyre business. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in and around West Midlands area, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This is a key role within our organization, and we are looking for someone who has at least 10 years of Business Development experience in tire business, is passionate about sales and has a strong background in software solutions.
Duties:
- Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, and online research
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies to meet sales targets
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts to management
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in Business Development or sales roles in tire business at least 10 years (automotive industry experience can be an alternative, to be decided in the interview)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for results
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong analytical skills to identify market trends and opportunities
- Bachelor's (or a postgraduate) degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
