Business Development Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join a family friendly firm, who are also a major PLC in the workwear and hygiene rental service solutions sector.  
Along with an achievable OTE (uncapped) £45,000 per annum ++, you will also receive a hybrid company car + fuel card, a mobile phone, laptop, up to 25 days holiday, a quarterly and annual bonus, a pension scheme, company share options, childcare vouchers, eyecare discounts, and private medical insurance.

This is a Business Development role covering Hull, Grimsby, Doncaster, Scunthorpe, and Lincoln. 
As Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include: 

• Selling into industry sectors such as manufacturing, engineering, food preparation, motor trade, construction, chemical processing, and many others.
• Setting realistic interim targets and having regular face to face meetings.
• Identifying leads.
• Canvassing new customers. 
• Negotiating deals. 
• Handling objections.
• Closing new business.
• Working as part of a team in a dedicated area with defined, achievable targets.

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager with the following skills and experiences: 

• A hard-working, self-motivated individual who isn’t afraid to try new things and challenge themselves.
• Their consultative sales approach supports your strengths, and our best people take their prospects on a journey, ultimately leading to the sale.
• You will need to have proven B-B Field sales track record, ideally within a contract service sector and you will need a full UK driving license.
