Reed Business Support are incredibly excited to be working with a nationally established company in the search for a Business Development Manager (Field Sales).
Based in Grimsby, you will be expected to not only build existing relationships with clients, but develop new relationships too.
Benefits:
Wage: £32,000 + Uncapped Commission
Bonus: 12% of profit margin on new accounts won. 2% of profit margin on existing accounts. Margin on work must be above 45% to count towards bonus - average margin on sales is 46%. OTE Y1 £40,000. OTE Y2 £50,000. This is uncapped.
Company car or £333/month car allowance
Pension upon satisfactory completion of notice period.
20 days holidays + statutory holidays. Business shuts at Christmas and this does not count towards allowance.
Key Accountabilities:
• Focus on forward planning and be able to manage your time.
• Liaise with internal departments, telesales team to ensure the smooth running of your client portfolio.
• Support the Customer by delivering clear account advice as well as Maximise selling opportunities by analysis of customer needs.
• Execute prospecting campaigns via email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate new sales opportunities.
• Engage senior executives to support key targeted prospect accounts if required.
• Responsible for opening New Customer Accounts and achieving Key Listings.
• Build and manage strong relationships with Existing and New Customers
• Promote New Products as well as Support clearance of old products.
• Represent the business at all Trade Events.
• Achieve and increase Sales turnover and Gross profit, to achieve predefined monthly and annual targets.
• Proactively manage customer retention and regain lost business.
• Proactively sell all products and services both stocked and catalogue.
• Maintain and develop knowledge of product offering.
• Maintain accurate customer records – Leverage CRM tools to Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects.
• Work with field sales, telesales, and all branch functions to always deliver highest levels of customer contact and service.
• Provide regular reports /updates as required by the management team.
• Provide quotes for customers to achieve agreed financial targets (Sales and Margin)
• Maintain accurate mileage claims – Personal /business mileage.
