Business Development Manager

We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our energetic team based near Skipton, North Yorkshire.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be the driver of our business growth, focusing on securing clients within the global nicotine or pharmaceutical sectors. You will utilise your expertise to identify and onboard new clients, manage client relationships, and work towards revenue and profit targets. Your role will involve close collaboration with various departments, including Operations, Marketing, and Laboratory Services, ensuring a seamless transition from proposal to execution.

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Business Development Manager Requirements:

• 3+ years of proven experience in Business Development essential
• Sales hunter mentality: results-driven, persuasive, confident, and persistent
• A background in scientific fields or knowledge of the nicotine or pharmaceutical markets desirable
• Proven track record in winning B2B contracts
• Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management at all levels
• Full driver s licence essential
• Live within 2 hours drive of site.
• Hybrid role with requirement to be on site weekly.

Business Development Manager Benefits:

• Salary: £35,000-£45,000 per annum OTE £60k (uncapped)
• 25 days holiday, plus public holidays
• Option for a fixed day off every 2 or 3 weeks through salary sacrifice
• Annual and quarterly bonus based on company and personal performance
