A successful professional services business in the taxation area are hiring a key position into their Nottingham office for a Business Development Manager, with a generous basic salary on offer, significant bonus potential which is readily achievable, superb offices with parking on-site.

The offices are very nice, newly refurbished and in a great area of Nottingham, with parking on-site.

Basic salaries plus bonus should see capable people earning £60,000 to £75,000 typically, but people have achieved 3 figure earnings, plus car and fuel allowance, private medical etc.

Established, well-networked and backed by a significant investment group, this business works predominantly with other white-collar professionals and you will be taught the specifics of this area by an experienced Director, plus introduced to a warm customer base and referral partners.

Responsibilities:

The Business Development Manager position is where you are responsible for delivering client acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Supported by the business and through generating your own leads and engaging new contacts, as well as maximising any referral or future opportunities - the key is customer service to create long term relationships to help drive new client engagements.

Role Duties:

• Attend meetings set by the internal sales development team.
• Book and attend self-generated meetings.
• Close new business sales opportunities
• Create a referral Network (accountants and business introducers)
• Development and maintain relationships with your clients.
• Acquire technical knowledge of products and sufficient to exceed your goals.
• Represent the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events.
• Be responsible for delivering the appropriate documents from the client for the pre-qualification process and signing the client up.
• Use sales techniques to identify needs and close any opportunities presented.
