Responsibilities:
The Business Development Manager position is where you are responsible for delivering client acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Supported by the business and through generating your own leads and engaging new contacts, as well as maximising any referral or future opportunities - the key is customer service to create long term relationships to help drive new client engagements.
Role Duties:
- Attend meetings set by the internal sales development team.
- Book and attend self-generated meetings.
- Close new business sales opportunities
- Create a referral Network (accountants and business introducers)
- Development and maintain relationships with your clients.
- Acquire technical knowledge of products and sufficient to exceed your goals.
- Represent the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events.
- Be responsible for delivering the appropriate documents from the client for the pre-qualification process and signing the client up.
- Use sales techniques to identify needs and close any opportunities presented.
