The Company:
We are an established wholesale based in the North of England who have demonstrated rapid growth over the last few years.
We have a fantastic reputation for the strength of our services into the takeaway sector and this has naturally developed more mainstream OOH/Foodservice customers including restaurants, pub groups, hotels, leisure and education.
Our turn over has almost doubled in recent years to nearly £43 Million and this has led to further investment into our foodservice strategy.
This has included increase in our product lines, developing great logistics and distribution facilities and proving service levels that enable us to work with Foodservice clients of all sizes.
As a result we are keen to add to our sales team with professionals with the right knowledge and experience of the sector to allow us to grow sales across the North West and Midlands.
The role:
This position involves development of Foodservice accounts across a designated geographical area.
You will inherit a small account base of established trading customers – but the key focus will be on generating new business across your area.
This will include clients across all areas of the foodservice sector including pubs, restaurants, leisure, education and healthcare.
We are taking an extremely pro-active and flexible approach to developing foodservice so there will be some exciting discussions as part of the journey in regards to increasing the size of our range to cater for all types of foodservice clients.
We have purposely positioned a commission scheme with this role that rewards candidates who really take ownership of their area and make an impact.
As a result, we are hoping to attract candidates who thrive in being manged autonomously and are keen to be highly rewarded for the success they bring to the company.
The Applicant:
We are seeking to speak to candidates with a strong background in Foodservice passionate about quality products and excellent service.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in sales to Foodservice end users.
- Candidates with experience working within Foodservice wholesale will be of particular interest.
- We also welcome candidates with a strong background in sales to chef level of other products such as fresh produce, fine foods and seafood.
- Candidates must be pro-active sales professionals that enjoy an autonomous management style but are up for a challenge with a rapidly growing company.
