What are we looking for?
As a BDM in the New Business team, you will:
- Work on New Business generation across the Spanish market by generating own leads and proposing solutions that lead to maximisation of revenues.
- Ensure regular contact with clients and prospects on the phone, Zoom and face to face meetings.
- Demonstrate all Cision services and products at all levels.
- Become an ambassador for Cision by developing strong relationships with customers. through phone calls, contact during meetings, presentations or at industry forums.
- Provide weekly feedback of sales activity including clients wins/losses, competition activity, product feedback etc.
- Follow up on all leads and opportunities to ensure that Cision maximises the chance of winning business.
- Ensure potential and developing accounts are adequately referenced on our CRM system and that the system is being used accordingly to established good practise.
- Share knowledge and expertise internally.
- Comply with all company policies (for example, data protection, equal opportunities, diversity and confidentiality).
Duties and responsibilities:
- Position the value of Cision’s offering through inbound and outbound methodology to Mid-market organisations.
- Educate and guide the prospects through the buyer’s journey and help them understand the value of Cision for their organisation.
- Proactively self-sourced leads via cold calling, outreach, and LinkedIn.
- Manage a pipeline of inbound and self-sourced leads to identify engage and develop. relationships with potential buyers.
- Hit daily activity KPIs based on outbound activity.
- Conduct effective online demonstrations of our service through online meetings and occasionally face-to-face.
- Build a pipeline (5x your monthly target).
- Ensure good communication with the Mid Market Customer Service Executives to ensure the smooth set up of new business orders.
- Input and maintain accurate activity information in Salesforce and Kluster.
- Report on activity and results daily, weekly and monthly.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Proven track record of successfully hitting targets and growing client base.
- Experience in building new relationships and hunting new business.
- Experience in selling SaaS solutions.
- Enterprise-level sales experience.
- Experience working in Spain and the Mediterranean marketplace.
- Be able to research and identify quality prospects.
- Experience or a keen interest in PR, marketing, and media industry.
- Experience in complex, consultative, or solution sales to high-value accounts.
- Ability to sell across a varied but intrinsically linked product range.
- Demonstrable experience in selling to all levels of personnel both on the phone and face to face, to be able to negotiate deals with C-level decision-makers.
- Good team player. Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to remain corporately focused.
- Have the energy and drive to work under pressure to hit tight targets.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to travel to market on a quarterly basis.
