Our public sector client is seeking a talented and experienced Business Intelligence Lead to join their team for an initial 11 months on a fixed term basis, the role will be home based in the main with just one day per week on site. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small high-performing team responsible for developing and maintaining the organisation's Business Intelligence platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise data requirements, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Design and implement effective data models, visualisations, and reports to support business needs and drive key performance indicators.
- Analyse complex data sets and provide strategic recommendations and insights to senior stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends and developments in Business Intelligence, identifying opportunities to enhance the organisation's data capabilities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing and implementing Business Intelligence solutions using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Strong analy/tical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
