JOB TITLE:Business Management Lead
LOCATION:Bristol or London
HOURS:Full Time
WORKING PATTERN:Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time in the office.
About this opportunity
The Client Servicing & Engagement (CS&E) Platform are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to lead their Business Management team.
As part of a fast-paced, agile environment, you'll work closely with the team to deliver efficiency and effectiveness. Acting as a trusted partner to the labs we support you'll use your personal insight to drive focus on the areas that matter the most.
You'll network with senior leaders, engage and collaborate with colleagues across all areas of the BCB Platforms, the wider BCB Business Unit and CIO to support with future ways of working. Finding opportunities and risks, driving forward actions and taking control for resolving problems.

Your accountabilities will include:
- Champion trusted partner status with the Platform and wider Business Unit, communicating to influence colleagues and build a culture with high levels of integrity.
- Lead the effectiveness of the governance and reporting framework, providing insight through the delivery of high-quality, accurate analysis and reporting, to influence and enable partners to make informed decisions.
- Embed a robust approach to the management and reporting of risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies. Support consistent and timely escalation of these and the monitoring and implementation of mitigation plans. Identify trends to support development of remediation plans.
- Lead, facilitate and attend key meetings to review delivery, financial and operational position, agreeing updates and priorities, managing the production of meeting materials, and tracking actions through to completion.
- Drive compliance, undertaking assurance activities and monitoring MI to ensure processes are completed in line with policy standards and breaches are identified and remediated.
- Provide advice and guidance on financial management, maintain robust and accurate forecasts, track performance to deliver to agreed financial targets and drive adherence to financial controls.
- Undertake Line Management duties, coaching others throughout the organisation in area of expertise.

What we need from you?
- Excellent communicator, both verbal and in writing, with the ability to distil complex themes into clear communications tailored in content and style.
- Adept at building partnerships, anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple partners, and driving an environment that encourages collaboration.
- Flexible and resilient, able to prioritise work to meet commitments aligned with objectives, improvise in response to change, and maintain focus and effectiveness in ambiguous situations.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting a wide range of data, making sense of complex information, analysing key themes.
- Previous experience in Change and knowledge of associated policies and procedures with ability to monitor application and adherence, interpret and provide technical guidance to others.
