EQUANS is looking for a Business Services Administrator to join our team based at Torness Nuclear Power Station on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
You will support the Business Services team within the Professional Service in line with the organisation’s goals and values. You will ensure confidential information is handled with due care and attention, ensure compliance with company safety and quality culture, ensure client satisfaction is maintained or exceeded, ensure adherence to the company code of conduct and ethics ensure adherence to the company policies and procedures and perform such other duties as reasonably correspond to the general character of the post and are commensurate with its level of responsibility.
What will you deliver?
- Prepare accountability reports
- Update wellbeing assessments and appraisals
- Prepare agendas for meetings, and attend meetings
- Prepare a variety of budgets and accounting reports
- Assist in processing Station Orders for client
- Verify, prepare and forward purchase orders/requisitions, verifying receipt of items and seeking authorisation for payment, liaise with suppliers
- Goods receipt station orders
- Monthly accruals for Station Orders/PPE & VMI
- Produce daily Procurement Report
- Collate daily Low Value Procurement review list
- Respond to routine requests for information – assemble relevant data and compile as necessary
- Monitor and facilitate the Corrective Action Process
- Support colleagues with day-to-day activities to ensure that deadlines and standards are met, and commitments are honoured.

Who are we looking for?
- GCSE or suitable qualification in English, Mathematics
- Minimum 3 years admin experience
- Ability to work to a high standard, with minimum supervision
- Previous experience with procurement would be an advantage.
This role includes a DS Basic check therefore ability to pass is essential.
