Business Support Assistant - Children's Social Care
Grade 2 £23,500 - £23893 per anum
37 hours per week full time

Together for Children works on behalf of Sunderland City Council to deliver children’s services in the city, which means that the local authority continuous service terms and conditions apply. You will work and support children’s Social Care Teams, to deliver services to children, young people, and families. You should have good communication skills, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
You will work within a Business Support Team and your main duties will include,
Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with customer enquiries/taking accurate messages.
Reception duties, including meeting and greeting visitors, deal with incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail.
Providing a typing service, which will include, copy/audio typing and document formatting.
Organising meetings and taking notes at meetings either via team or face to face.
Inputting and retrieving information from our case management system.
Issuing petty cash
Creating purchase orders and paying invoices using our financial management system,
Photocopying and scanning documents.
Applicants must have a minimum of Maths and English GCSEs at grade 9-4, A-C and a NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
