We are proud to be supporting Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council who are looking for an Administrators to join their team due to an increase in workload.
You will provide a confidential administrative and financial service to staff across the Inclusion and Access Division; and, where necessary to schools.
Location – B91 3QB
Pay Rate - £12.80ph
Your new role
Duties include:
General Admin role:
- Updating records and database
- Covering reception- dealing with enquires over the phone and email
- Liaising with external agencies
- Ensuring meeting room is prepped for meetings
- Arranging divisional meetings, distributing meeting papers, attending divisional
meetings, taking and distributing minutes - Sending correspondence
- Liaise with parents/carers, schools, outside agencies and the general public.
Finance Admin:
- Providing support to the Business Support to managers and staff in the division, in planning, implementing, monitoring and controlling the day-to-day financial operation of the division
- Providing statements and monthly reconciliations dealing with budget and staffing planning
- Liaising with other council departments regarding staffing matters, contracts, salaries, financial monitoring, budget planning
- Administration of council purchase cards within the division.

You will have previous admin experience and be highly organised, have attention to detail and not afraid to help with additional tasks.
