About The Role
Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service is looking for professional, highly motivated individuals with a drive for excellence to join our Protection Team as a Business Support Officer. This role will be to actively support our Fire Safety Inspecting Officers who carry out Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Services legislative duties by maintaining our database management systems and to carry out a range of administrative duties.
About You
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks and functions, including the planning, development and troubleshooting of system related issues to ensure that the application of a variety of key database systems, management information systems and associated processes are maintained effectively and efficiently to support the Business Fire Safety Team. They will also be dealing with and advising members of our community through telephone and email enquiries.
Effective interpersonal, presentation and communication skills are essential in this role, due to the varied audiences. You will also be required to have a high level of written communication skills sufficient to write complex reports.
