JOB TITLE: Cabin Appearance Duty Manager
REPORTING TO: Cabin Appearance Operations Manager
LOCATION: London Heathrow Airport, TW6
SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 2 off, 2 early and 2 late shifts
SALARY: Competitive
ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
The Duty manager role is responsible for ensuring an effective and efficient operation of the Cabin Cleaning department through strong leadership of the teams, focus on safety and operation efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all staff have the needed equipment at all times to do their job correctly.
- Keep the Operations Manager informed of potential delays or problems and work together to solve them.
- Ensure strong information and communication is shared with all airlines.
- Performance manages all staff from investigation through to disciplinary level of management.
- Provide detailed reports on accidents and incidents.
- Complete health and Safety and standards audits.
- Brief staff on relevant operational matters to build motivation and engagement.
- Escalate possible service failures, ideally before they happen.
- Identify operational challenges and produce a plan to respond.
- Ensure a fair and consistent approach to staff when allocating work.
- Ensure staff are working appropriately and in a timely manner
- Carry out any reasonable task requested.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Allocation experience in the aviation industry
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Management or supervision experience
- Cabin cleaning experience
- Strong IT and programme operational skills
Essential
- Full UK Driving Licence
