Care Operations Manager
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey (Hybrid)
Salary: Circa £40k + Excellent Benefits
Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week
The Client:
Our client, a leading charitable organisation in the health and social care sector, specialises in personal care services, including washing, dressing, and operates a Day Unit for early-onset dementia.
The Role:
As a Care Operations Manager, you will lead the team of Senior Service Managers and work closely with HR to identify recruitment requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Allocate resources effectively within the organisation.
* Ensure adequate cover for the out-of-hours service.
* Work with the Head of Care Operations for compliance and safe practices.
* Establish effective communication with operations, training, compliance, and contracts teams.
* Provide supervision, coaching, and guidance to line management and care staff.
* Attend networking events to promote services.
* Collaborate with Fundraising, Marketing, and Communications for fundraising direction.
* Review Service Development Plan for overall compliance.
* Deputise in the absence of the Head of Care Operations.
Requirements:
* Previously worked as a Care Operations Manager or in a similar role.
* NVQ 5 in Leadership / Management in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
* Prior management experience.
* Experience in creating and auditing of risk assessments and care plans.
* Knowledge of learning disabilities, autism, and dementia strategies,
* Background in designing and writing reports for prompt information sharing.
* Understanding of safeguarding protocols with experience addressing related concerns.
* Skilled in IT, including Microsoft Office.
* Senior Leadership qualification in Health & Social Care (desirable).
* Valid UK driving licence with a roadworthy car.
