Working Hours: 35 hours per week    

Contract Type:  Full Time,  Temporary until March 2026

As Change Manager you will be responsible for managing a small team of change specialists, to deliver a programme of organisational change that will ensure our workforce is equipped and ready for digital change.   

Working within Organisation Development & Transformation (in the Human Resources, Organisation Development & Transformation Service), the main duties of the role include :

  • Supporting the internal digital transformation of our Corporate Core through modernising and improving ways of working for all.
  • Helping our workforce to be ready for change with the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to adopt new systems and ways of working. 
  • Delivering a programme of organisational change that helps to embed our new HR and Finance System
  • Delivering activity in support of developing a culture of high trust and high accountability with clear expectations of people, systems, and processes.
  • Driving work to embed the Our Manchester values across the organisation.

We are looking for someone, who solution focused, with proven experience of successfully managing and delivering a range of change projects. This includes the ability to adapt approaches and use different methods to problem solve and deliver outcomes.
 
You will work across functions in the organisation and will need to be able to communicate with a range of audiences, including stakeholders at senior levels. You will also need to be able to turn strategic ideas and objectives into practical plans, action and results and have experience of leading, managing and motivating staff to deliver.
