Chef de Partie@ West End Brasserie, Edinburgh
Set in the Bustling West End of Edinburgh , The West End Brasserie is seeking a Driven & Passionate Chef de Partie to join its team serving Refined French Classics & Seasonal Brasserie Dishes. All Sauces, Prep, Terrines, Pate's & garnishes are made in house - the only things we buy in are local ice cream & Bread from our bakery.
The kitchen is custom built to ensure the working environment is as efficient, enjoyable & comfortable as it can be with 2 Rational Ovens, Thermomix, Solid Top & 6 burner stoves as well as a fantastic walk in fridge and separate preparation areas.
The main duties of the role are
- Following Company Spec on Dishes
- Cookery of menu to company standards
- Prep for the menu dishes
- Cleaning and following cleaning rotas
- Filling in required food safety paperwork under instruction
Experience of at least 2 years as a CDP in a similar standard of Bistro/Brasserie/ Gastropub would be desireable for this role and we aren't adverse to giving a commited and hard working employee the opportunity to take their first step towards senior management in a kitchen long term.
