Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Client Accountant to manage and oversee our client's financial activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
• Conduct financial analysis and forecasting
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning activities
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
• Prepare tax returns and ensure timely submission.

Skills and Qualifications:

• ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified or part qualified
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero)
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
