The team you’ll work with:
Our Client Lifecycle Management Risk (CLM) Risk and Governance function plays a central part in supporting and overseeing of the financial and operational risks including regulatory and compliance related controls. The Team has a critical role to play in supporting, challenging, and advising across Onboarding and Refresh teams through improving the processes, procedures, training, and internal audit and identifying and managing forward looking risks and compliance. We support the CLM teams with the process improvements, internal audits, writing and maintaining the procedures and the Job Aids, organizing the training and dealing with any ad hoc requests. We work in close partnership with our stakeholders at HSBC Innovation Banking and HSBC UK on the delivery of more robust and transparent processes and guidance.
The value you’ll add:
You will assist the CLM team with the process improvements, internal audits, writing and maintaining the procedures and the Job Aids, organizing the training for the team.
What you can expect to be doing:
- Providing guidance to the CLM Teams on the Procedure, systems, and KYC requirements.
- Working with the CLM managers and other stakeholders on the process and procedure improvement.
- Liaising with the CLM Teams to obtain feedback on the current processes and the requirements.
- Participating in the working groups to review current KYC requirements.
- Be able to draft the guidance and Job Aids on the targeted requirements.
- Helping with collating documents and responding to questions raised by internal audit teams.
- Identifying and escalating any issues per defined process to minimise any Risk and/or negative client impact.
- Working in close partnership with the Financial Crime, Compliance & Operational Risk, and Internal Audit Teams on the procedure updates and process improvements.
- Deliver training to CLM teams.
- Managing the CLM Risk and Governance portfolio.
- Be responsible for the development and maintenance of key documentary records that act as essential audit trails.
Requirements
The experience you need:
- Experience of writing process improvements procedures and, organizing the training for a KYC team.
- Able to perform research and gap analysis bank’s procedures.
- Strong writing skills to be able to draft and deliver the Job Aids and any other supporting documents within the CLM space.
- Experience in delivering trainings to a wider team.
- Experience in a risk or control environment - banking or financial services required.
- Work closely with managers on translation of complicated issues into actionable recommendations and solutions.
- Previous experience/qualifications in similar role are essential.
