The Job:

Cherwell District Council is at the forefront of tackling climate change and protecting our Natural Environment. We're committed to creating a sustainable future for Cherwell and its residents. To further our efforts, we're excited to announce a new opportunity within our Climate Action Team.

The Person:

As part of our growing Climate Action Team, the Climate and Natural Environment Officer will play a pivotal role in championing and enhancing Cherwell's Natural Environment. You will lead efforts to develop and implement nature-based solutions to mitigate and adapt to the impacts of climate change.

• Co-ordinating the management and enhancement of the district’s Natural Environment in alignment with our Climate Change Strategy.

Requirements:

• Experience of working in the Natural Environment, with a strong understanding of environmental conservation principles and practices.
