Trust Doctor Clinical Fellow (ST1/2 Level) in Paediatric Emergency Medicine.
Applications are invited for a full time Clinical Fellow Paediatrician based in the Paediatric Emergency Department at University Hospital Lewisham.
This position will be for a four month period from 03 April 2024 to 06 August 2024 with the possibility of contract extension.
These posts also involve overnight shifts and late shifts.
The post would be suitable for a Paediatric Trainee SHO level and above, or an Emergency Medicine trainee with significant experience working in a Paediatric A&E Department.
These posts are an ideal opportunity for a suitably qualified individual looking to develop skills within a busy paediatric emergency medicine department. The positions will also allow the candidate to continue to meet their training and education objectives within their clinical responsibilities.
The candidate would take part in the Paediatric A&E rota.

To share with SpRs responsibility for the day to day running of the dedicated Paediatric Emergency department
To perform Out-patient clinics with consultant supervision ( If an interest is declared

To continue training and Educational Objectives
Participate in safeguarding meetings and simulation training.
