Collateral Management Operations Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily collateral activities including margin calls, collateral transfers, and reconciliations.
• Monitor and analyse collateral positions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Work closely with traders, counterparties, and internal stakeholders to resolve collateral disputes and discrepancies.
• Perform collateral optimization and efficiency analysis to minimize costs and maximize utilization.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and third-party service providers.
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements to streamline Collateral Management Operations.
• Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in Collateral Management.
• Provide support for ad-hoc projects and initiatives related to Collateral Management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Collateral Management or related operations within the banking industry.
• Strong understanding of financial products, derivatives, and margin requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Collateral Management systems (e.g., Murex, Calypso).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
