Commercial Accountant

Whether you are a part-qualified or fully qualified Accountant, we would love to speak with you!

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of detailed monthly overhead analysis
• Work closely with departments such as marketing and operations to prepare meaningful variance to budget analysis
• Line management of Purchase Ledger Controller and oversight of purchase ledger
• Be responsible for the calculation of accruals and prepayments, supporting more junior team members with their involvement on these
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing reconciliations prepared by more junior team members
• Prepare information for inclusion in the Management Accounts 
• Prepare VAT Returns 

Requirements:

• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent)
• Previous experience in management accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
