An opportunity to be a Commercial Finance Manager for an excellent technology company in Birmingham. The company has seen fantastic growth, with a turnover of £55 million last year. This business is growing rapidly, but still have a friendly medium sized feel to them. Nice offices too!
Main Duties:
As a Commercial Finance Manager, your main duties include:
- Creating reports to support commercial decision making
- Preparing monthly accounts
- Preparing the consolidated statutory accounts
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Liaising with external stakeholders, including auditors and banks
- Reviewing corporation tax returns
- Reviewing payroll
- Ensuring sufficient controls are in place across all processes
- Providing system support to the finance team.
- Reviewing current systems in place and suggesting potential improvements
Location / Office / Culture
The role is based in Birmingham but offers hybrid working with two days in the office and three at home. The manager is really supportive and she has a wealth of experience to draw on and learn from.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- Able to juggle priorities and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner
- Good at managing time
- Able to communicate professionally and articulately
- Adaptable to new challenges
