Job Description
Construo is seeking an experienced and proactive Commercial Manager to oversee the commercial aspects of our projects. As the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing contracts, finances, and ensuring the profitability and success of our commercial ventures.
Responsibilities
Manage the commercial aspects of construction projects, including contract negotiations, procurement, and financial strategies.
Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms and conditions while mitigating risks.
Monitor project budgets, costs, and expenditures, providing accurate financial reports and forecasts.
Collaborate with project managers, quantity surveyors, and other stakeholders to optimize project profitability.
Review and analyze commercial agreements and contracts to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
Provide guidance and support to project teams on commercial matters throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Construction Management, or related field. MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.
years of proven experience in a commercial management role within the construction industry.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of commercial principles and practices.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite.
