Commis Chef- 40 Hours Per Week

London Bridge Hotel is recruiting for a Commis Chef to join our Food & Beverage team.

You will need to be able to work early shift and late shift.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest experience. As a Commis Chef would also be required to prepare all mis-en-place and contribute to departmental targets. We are looking for someone who will provide and engaging, intuitive and refined style of service to our guests.

As a Commis Chef at London Bridge Hotel, you will:

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes within company guidelines
• Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination
• Prepare all mis-en-place for all relevant menus
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
• Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation
• Awareness departmental targets and strive to achieve them as part of the team
• Be environmentally aware

Personal Specification:

• Previous working experience in hotel industry
• Passionate and creative about the food
• Exceptional level of attention to details

• Good communication skills
