We have a fantastic opportunity in our Hotel Kitchen team, part of the University of Edinburgh, and are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Breakfast Chef.
The Opportunity:
Have you got a passion for food? Are you looking to progress your career within a world class organisation and develop your culinary skills further? In this varied role your key duties will include preparing and cooking food for breakfast and lunch service. You will work both by yourself and assist other chefs during your shift, ensuring high quality dishes are served to all of our guests across our three properties, which have undergone significant investment and refurbishment.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Kitchen experience in a hospitality setting.
- Prepare food for breakfast and lunch to the highest possible standards.
- Take pride in delivering a memorable breakfast to hotel guests.
- Ensure that all Health & safety requirements are met whilst on shift to ensure a safe environment is provided and all our legal obligations met.
- Impeccable standards and an eye for detail.
- Flexibility and a positive can-do attitude.
- Continuously look to improve our standards; menu offering and deliver world-class hospitality. Be an ambassador for our brand and catering operation.
