People who work at the National Trust are as varied as all the places we care for. That's why we look for people from all backgrounds, with a variety of skills and abilities, to help the Trust’s cause. As a Communications and Marketing Officer for Lyveden, you'll be responsible for letting people know about the place, and how they can visit.
Reporting to the property operations manager and as part of the team, you'll play a crucial role in coordinating engaging marketing campaigns that showcase Lyveden and the activities we offer. From managing the website to ensure it stay's current and informative, to promoting a diverse array of events and activities. Your work will directly contribute to connecting people to our story and entice them to join in with our programming.
We have an annual plan covering communications and marketing, and your role will be to achieve what’s on that plan. We have some ambitious targets that you’ll be aiming at, including reaching new and diverse audiences, so there’s room for creativity and fresh ideas.
Your day-to-day work will cover tasks like creating new content on our web pages, and making sure that existing information remains relevant and accurate, running social media accounts, creating promotional materials and writing and distributing press releases.
You'll be working closely with your colleagues on site and the Trusts regional advisers, known as consultants. You'll be part of a team making sure that we're sharing the best stories we can, with a focus on spreading the word about places to visit and letting people know about the Trust’s conservation work.
You will also be apart of the duty management rota. This involves being the property's point of contact when necessary and supporting all departments when called upon.
We'd love to hear from you if you’re:

- experienced in writing and speaking clearly
- someone who puts people first, and understands why great customer service matters
- skilled in working with IT (including Microsoft Office)
