The Role - Adminstrator
My client is currently looking for an administrator to support their compliance team to ensure Health, Safety, Environmental and CDM compliance through designing an integrated assurance framework to support their external audit requirement and tender process. The framework will be designed to measure their day-to-day operational activities, legal compliance, formulate, schedule, and support the delivery of staff and contractor training.
Duties
Key to the success of the role will be in supporting with the following tasks:
- Day to day admin support to ensure full compliance with legislation, clients, and contractors for HSEQ and training obligations.
- Development of the documentation for an integrated assurance framework (ISO 9001, 45001 & ISO 14001)
- Data collection and survey competition for SSIP’s, supplier questionnaires and the tenders.
- Maintaining legal and risk registers.
- Supporting Health, Safety and Environmental Committees.
- Using project management software clickup and HR Toolkit to schedule and manage training for all functions of the businesses.
- Managing Safety Culture, the internal audit system.
- Reviewing management reports for trend analysis and accuracy.
- Review legislation to stay current with UK health, safety and CDM legislation and regulations and ensure the company’s compliance and feedback any changes to the Head of Compliance.
- Support the Head of Compliance prepare reports to regulatory authorities if required.
- Collate monthly health, safety and risk management performance data against KPI’s (accident/near miss data, risk assessments, non-compliance reports etc) and present to the Head of Compliance for meetings and supplier audits.
Skills and Experience
- A high-level awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation (e.g., NEBOSH Managing or a willingness to acquire the information)
- Ability to interface at all levels throughout our organisation and clients
- IT literate with an excellent understanding of PowerPoint/Word/Excel and how to use technology as an effective tool
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent report writing skills
