Compliance Associate

We are currently working with a mid-market private equity firm that is looking to hire a Compliance Associate to join their compliance team in London. This role will report into the Head of Compliance.

This position will be a compliance generalist role with full exposure across all areas of compliance, both regulatory compliance and financial crime.

Duties will include:

• Compliance monitoring (thematic reviews and surveillance)
• Central Compliance (PA Dealing, Conflicts, Gifts & Entertainment etc..)
• Compliance advisory (Horizon scanning, assisting in providing regulatory advice to the business)
• Policy (Updating, drafting and amending compliance policies/procedures)
• Financial Crime (AML due diligence, KYC oversight)
• Regulatory reporting (UK, Europe and US)

The ideal candidate will have between 1-3 years compliance experience within fund management. We are happy to consider candidates with experience in an institutional asset manager, private equity, private credit, real estate/infrastructure, hedge fund and/or wealth management.
